I’ve been photographing families since I was a teenager, and somehow, after all these years, I’m still completely fascinated by the same thing: personality.
The crooked smiles. The belly laughs. The shy little hand holding onto Mom. The kid who absolutely refuses to look at the camera. Especially that kid.
I’m not here to make your family look like someone else’s. I want to capture your people as they actually are — connected, silly, wild, sweet, and completely themselves.
Based in Bluffton, SC, I photograph families and children throughout the Lowcountry, creating colorful, timeless images that bring you right back to this version of your family.
My Story
Long before photography became a business, there was just me and a camera. I’ve had one in my hands since I was 11, and at 16, I officially started my photography business in my hometown of Connecticut.
Since then, I’ve photographed a little bit of everything — newborns, families, children, maternity, seniors, weddings, musicians, headshots, and all the wonderfully unpredictable moments in between. But through it all, I’ve always been drawn to photographs that feel real, joyful, and completely you.
After graduating from High Point University with a degree in Criminal Justice, I traded Connecticut for the Lowcountry and moved to Bluffton, SC. For the past four years, I’ve worked with children throughout the area, which has only made me love photographing their big personalities even more.
These days, I’m a photographer, a newly engaged bride-to-be, and still that girl who gets a little too excited when she has a camera in her hands.
The camera has changed a few times since I was 11. The reason I picked it up hasn’t.
